Support Reintroduction of the Humane Cosmetics Act

Update: This petition is now closed! The HCA was reintroduced 6.6.17!

As a founding member of the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC), and its Leaping Bunny logo program, NEAVS is committed to ending the needless suffering and death of millions of rabbits, mice, rats, guinea pigs, and other animals used in testing. Help NEAVS in our efforts to urge members of Congress to reintroduce the Humane Cosmetics Act (HCA) into the current 115th Congressional session. Although the HCA was considered during the last two Congressional sessions with bi-partisan support led by Congresswoman Martha McSally, it languished in committee during both sessions!

Won't you take action now by asking your U.S. Representative to express their support for Congresswoman McSally AND the reintroduction of the HCA? Once it is passed into law, it will ban cosmetics testing on animals in the U.S., and end the sale of animal-tested cosmetics in the U.S. within three years.

Just click on the graphic below, and fill out the form!

The U.S. must join the E.U. along with numerous other countries, which have already ended outdated, and unnecessary animal testing; replacing with existing, non-animal alternatives that are humane, and more predictive of human response.
